Tellus Conference 2007
Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th October 2007
W5 science and discovery centre, Belfast
The Tellus Conference is your opportunity to see the new results of recent geoscience surveys that cover all of Northern Ireland. Airborne and ground surveys completed in 2006 reveal new information about our environment and natural resources.
These results will interest everyone concerned with the strategic management of the environment and natural resources in Northern Ireland:
- ·Planners, regulators and policy makers
- ·Central and local government officers
- ·Earth and environmental scientists and managers
- ·Environmental health officers
- ·Agricultural industry
- ·Extractive and energy industries
Tellus provides new perspectives on the physical and chemical contexts of our surface environment, on natural resources, concealed geology and surface soils, and on the state of streams. Volumes of new data have been collected that will inform our understanding and management of the natural environment and the overprint of human activities.
Register your interest now by email - a more detailed programme will follow.
