[ 19-12-2007 ] Review of Fuel Security Code
The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation are in the process of reviewing, in the light of the introduction of the Single Electricity Market and implementation of Directive 2003/54/EC, the Fuel Security Code which would operate in a Fuel Security Period in Northern Ireland.
This process will also include the identification of any consequential amendments needed to the Trading and Settlement Code and the Northern Ireland Grid Code and is expected to culminate in proposals for amendment of the Fuel Security Code, and other documents as appropriate. The proposed new arrangements will be the subject of consultation, in due course.
