Consultation on proposals for legislation relating to Common Arrangements for Gas
The Consultation document on proposals for a Common Arrangements for Gas (CAG) Bill invites comments on the proposed content of Primary legislative provisions into Northern Ireland to harmonise operations of the wholesale gas networks in Northern Ireland with the Republic of Ireland.
This requires parallel primary legislation in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in order to provide for a simpler, more efficient cross border wholesale gas transmission system by October 2012.
