For business advice regarding Trading Standards legislation, you should visit ERWIN, which is a simple easy to use guide to the requirements imposed by the legislation enforced by Trading Standards throughout the UK.  In a few cases, there may be a difference in the name of the legislation which applies in Northern Ireland, but the provisions of the law will be identical.  

For advice on how to ensure you comply with Sale of Goods legislation you should visit the Sale of Goods Act hub on the Office of Fair Trading website.  This provides comprehensive guidance for retailers on the law relating to the sale of goods.
