Regulatory Impact Assessment Training Course

During 2008-09, DETI took forward the development of a training course designed to support NICS policy makers and legislators in undertaking a Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA).

Working with the Centre for Applied Learning (the NICS training provider organisation), a new in-depth course has been designed and was piloted in June. The course will focus on key aspects of 'Better Policy Making & Regulatory Impact Assessments: A Guide for Northern Ireland', and will be available for NI Civil Servants to book in the normal way, through HR Connect, when it is rolled-out later in the year.
