Strategy 2010
Strategy 2010 is the report of the Northern Ireland Economic Development Strategy Steering Group commissioned in January 1998 to conduct a review of economic development in Northern Ireland and develop proposals for the economy through the first decade of the Millennium. The aim of the review was to provide advice to the new Northern Ireland Assembly and was included as part of the Government's work plan under the Good Friday Agreement. The Strategy 2010 review involved over 300 people from the public and private sectors through 11 sectoral working groups and 7 cross sector working groups along with a representative Consultation Panel.
